Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of the Partial Cash on Delivery (COD) payment option offered by Kapoor E-Illuminations Pvt. Ltd (“Company”, “we”, “our”, “us”) to customers (“Customer”, “you”). By selecting the Partial COD option, you agree to the following Terms:

1. Eligibility for Partial COD

1.1. Partial COD is available only for eligible products, pin codes, and order values as determined solely by the Company.
1.2. The Company reserves the right to approve, deny, or withdraw the Partial COD option for any order without prior notice.

2. Advance Payment Requirement

2.1. Customers opting for Partial COD are required to pay 10% to 20% of the total product value (“Advance Payment”) which may differ based on product value prior to dispatch.
2.2. The exact percentage of the Advance Payment shall be communicated at the time of order confirmation.
2.3. The Advance Payment shall be made through the secure payment link or UPI details provided by the Company.

3. Order Processing & Delivery

3.1. An order shall be processed and dispatched only upon successful receipt of the Advance Payment.
3.2. The remaining balance (“COD Balance Amount”) shall be payable by the Customer to the delivery partner at the time of delivery.
3.3. Failure to pay the COD Balance Amount at the time of delivery shall be deemed as a refusal of delivery.

4. Cancellations & Refunds

4.1. If an order is cancelled by the Customer before dispatch, the Advance Payment shall be refunded in full within 3–5 working days.
4.2. If the Customer refuses delivery or is unavailable at the time of delivery, the Advance Payment shall be forfeited to cover logistics, handling, and administrative costs.
4.3. In the event of delivery of an incorrect, damaged, or defective product, the Advance Payment shall be refunded in accordance with the Company’s Return & Replacement Policy.
4.4. Refunds shall be processed only to the original mode of payment.

5. Non-Availability of Partial COD

5.1. Partial COD shall not be applicable on:
   a. Custom-made, personalized, or made-to-order products
   b. Bulk, project-based, or corporate orders
   c. Orders shipped to locations not serviceable under COD
5.2. The Company may revise the list of ineligible categories at its discretion.

6. Fraud Prevention & Verification

6.1. The Company may conduct additional verification, including phone confirmation, address validation, and identity checks, before processing any Partial COD order.
6.2. Orders suspected to be fraudulent, high-risk, or inconsistent may be cancelled at the Company's discretion, and any Advance Payment may be refunded or withheld based on the circumstances.

7. Limitation of Liability

7.1. The Company shall not be liable for delays in delivery arising from incorrect address details, unavailability of the Customer, or courier-related issues.
7.2. The Company shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or claim arising from the Customer’s failure to comply with these Terms.

8. Amendments

8.1. The Company reserves the right to modify, update, or discontinue the Partial COD option or these Terms at any time without prior notice.
8.2. Continued use of the Partial COD option after such amendments shall be deemed acceptance of the revised Terms.
